BIG News!

Hi everyone!

We've got BIG news...We're pregnant again! JUST KIDDING! No THANK YOU VERY MUCH right now! Hahaha...made your heart skip a beat :0)

No no no...our big news is that Justin got offered the job in South Carolina! The perfect job...the one we both really wanted. We're both thrilled! It's such absolutely exciting news and of course he's going to take it. IT's going to be great b/c it'll be exactly where we want to be and we'll be closer to family. His parents are only 3 hours away in Myrtle Beach, so to say we're excited would be an understatement! We can't wait! Not sure when we'll be moving, but it'll be in the next few months closer to May or June. I'll let you know exactly when when we know! It is such a relief and it feels like we have a huge weight lifted off our shoulders and the elephant in our house has left the building. It's not that we won't miss Oklahoma, but I think we're both ready to move on if you can understand that. Thank you for praying for us and giving us your thoughts and prayers. We both feel so blessed to have this opportunity! Now the real fun begins! Time to apply for licensure, apply for jobs, look, find and buy a house, sell the old one, pack up and move literally across the country :0) I'm really looking forward to it!

As for Jackson, he had his 9 month check up this past Monday and he's one big boy. He weighs 20 pounds 10 ounces (between 50-75th percentile) AND is 28 inches long (between 25-50th percentile). We're hoping that his length will jump up again like it has back and forth. My dad always teases us that we'll get a tall girl and a short boy. I just hope we get a normal size for both kids, but I'd be really excited if our kids were all tall! The doctor says he looks great! She even thinks he'll walk before his 1 year birthday ;0) If chasing him while walking is anything like chasing him while crawling, I think I can wait for that. He definitely has kept us busy with his army crawling. He's getting faster and faster and I'm getting more and more exhausted at the end of the day! His tooth is slowly but surely coming in. It's pretty cute to see him smile now. He's my little chunky monkey! Other than that, he just keeps getting more and more amazing every day. He's getting quite the sweet personality. He gives us lots nad lots of kisses. He also likes to read to us at night and sing in the car. He's also started dancing a little bit. Pretty awesome!

Well, we'll keep you posted about some exciting things in the next few weeks. We'll be heading out to Aiken in mid-March to start house hunting and we'll be putting the house on the market soon. The next few months will fly by, so I better be ready! If you think about it, pray that we'll be able to sell our house and find a great home in SC. Thanks everyone for your continued love and support!

9 month JC Penney pics

Took my son to get his 9 month pics at JC Penny's today. We did great for about 10 minutes and then they switch the background and DRAMA RAMA! He really did NOT have a great shoot this time. Here are a few of my favorites though! Bless his heart :0)

A Day for Special Hugs and Kisses

Happy Valentine's Day ya'll!

This Valentine's day seemed all the more special to me than in years past. Not that years past haven't been awesome, but watching my son's face as I snuggled and kissed him and gave him lots of Valentine's cheer...it was truly a beautiful day. Jackson loved his gifts. We got him a new book and a cookie jar doohickey. He had fun all day, although I'm pretty sure that he liked his VDay card the most :0) It's the simple things in life I'm learning that truly thrill him as do they me. Spending the day at Walmart or watching him crawl or taking him to the window to see the snow that has just fallen is magical. His eyes light up and the world just seems right. We didn't do anything at all special really besides exchange gifts and Justin made a great steak dinner, but today was a good day! I can't say enough how truly blessed I am to have not 1, but 2 incredible men in my life (one big and one small). On this Valentine's Day, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! In fact, I know I am!

So, in other news...Justin had a very important interview in South Carolina this past week. They flew him out to Aiken and he interviewed for a perfect job. I'm really trying not to get my hopes up, but this job would be exactly what we both want! Oh goodness...I get giddy just thinking about the possibility. I think I'm just very ready to move on and leave our Oklahoma days behind us. Not that there aren't things I will miss b/c there definitely are, but I'm ready for the next adventure. We're hoping to hear back about this job in the next 2 weeks. Pray for us that he gets it! If he does, we'll be on an airplane very soon to go look at houses.

Also very exciting news on the Jackson front. After months and months of waiting for teeth and crawling, he hit the motherload on both fronts this week. He has a teeny tiny little corner of a tooth poking out where you can actually see it. It was so exciting I think I may have shed a tear of happiness when Miss Liz called me down to see it. I thought for sure he's have one sooner than this, but I'm also finding out that he'll get there when he'll get there. I've been trying to take a picture of it and he refuses to let me, so hopefully soon! As I said, he's also started crawling in the past week. Now by crawling, I don't mean on all 4s or anything. He's army crawling. What can I say...he likes to do things to hard way. It's pretty awesome to watch him move from one side of the room to another. He can actually move quite quickly for army crawling, which is keeping the both of us on our toes. I'm happy that he's crawling and I'll probably regret that later and all, but I'm just thrilled. I had a feeling he'd turn 9 months old and then everything would happen. Hopefully, he'll learn soon to crawl on all 4s, but we'll see :0) We go to the doctor tomorrow for his 9 month checkup, so I'll have an update soon on his stats. I know he's gotta be well over 20 pounds now b/c he's so hard to carry! Anyway, I'll leave you with a couple of pictures of my Valentine :
